[Independent Review]  *Hà Nội – Italian Restaurant

    Concept

Authentic Italian restaurant specializing in traditional cuisine. Offer a wide range of options that go far beyond the standard “pizzas and pastas.”

    Address

201 P. Vệ Hồ, Xuân La, Tây Hồ, Hà Nội

    Impressions

We decided last weekend ( August 2023) to return to DragonCELLO after a long absence. The restaurant remains as popular as ever among locals and expats, with excellent service.

    dragonCELLO Ha Noi
The space is spacious with 3 floors and quite cozy, suitable for both dates and large groups, with a private room

The strength of DragonCELLO is the quality of imported ingredients like cheese and cold cuts. We highly recommend antipasti and pasta dishes, which showcase these premium ingredients.

During this visit, we tried the Casaoncelli ai formaggi e polenta pasta dish which was excellent. As far as we remember, we always liked both their pasta and antipasti.

Casoncelli ( Fresh stuffed pasta) typical of Lombardy, Northern Italy

While the pizza toppings are excellent, the base (regular bread dough) is decent but not remarkable compared to Hanoi’s best wood-fired, sourdough pizza restaurants.
