[Independent Review] *Hanoi – Burgers

Concept
A well executed local take on fast food burgers
Address
01 Nam Trang, Truc Bach, Hanoi
Impressions
A clear concept and good execution is often all you need to make your customers happy.
We tried GoodTime Vietnam, a local take on fast food burgers at their original location in Trúc Bạch. They executed the concept well with thoughtful details that made us eager to learn more about this “franchise”.

From the packaging to the presentation to the service, GoodTime Vietnam will remind you of the positive aspects of the biggest fast food chains. The branding is clean and strong without any notable flaws, impressive for a local company.
The fries are good and will likely make you think of those from a certain global fast food chain represented by a red and yellow clown mascot.

For the burgers don’t expect them with truffle oil or other fancy ingredients at GoodTime Vietnam. That’s not the concept. We tried the Original and its X3 version. Both were more than satisfying.

A plus to the GoodTime Vietnam concept is they also serve alcoholic drinks and even have a cozy bar area. They’ve partnered with Overmorrow Brewing Company, so you can get excellent craft beers. They also have a cocktail menu (not tried).

Apparently GoodTime Vietnam now has a 2nd location inside the new Lotte Mall West Lake. We don’t expect them to offer the full experience there given the constraints of a shopping mall location, but we definitely want to see more Goodtime Vietnam and less Burger King in Vietnam.
